Stools clear and clean ✓
Normal side effects: nausea, bloating, cramps, anal irritation. These are transient and resolve quickly. If your stools are not clear when you finish, apply a warm water enema.

TAKE THE LAST PREP SACHET 5 HOURS BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT.
AFTER THAT, ABSOLUTE FAST FROM 3 HOURS BEFORE. YOU CANNOT DRINK EVEN WATER.

How to take Pleinvue®

MORNING appointments (9:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

DOSE 1 — 8:00 PM Previous Evening

Contents: 1 Plain Sachet

Mix with: 500 ml cold water

Duration: 40–45 minutes

Pace: 1 glass every 15–20 min

After: drink 500 ml of clear liquids

DOSE 2 — 5h before appointment

Contents: Sachet A + Sachet B

Mix: BOTH in 500 ml cold water

Duration: 1 full hour

Pace: 1 glass every 15–20 min

Alternate one glass of water with one glass of prep

AFTERNOON appointments (from 3:00 PM)

DOSE 1 — 8:00 AM Day of the procedure

Contents: 1 Plain Sachet

Mix with: 500 ml cold water

YOU CANNOT EAT

Vegetables, seeds, greens, salads
Any type of fruit
Legumes
Meats/fish in sauce or stews

24 Hours Before — Clear Liquids Only

Water
Strained broths

Non-carbonated drinks
Isotonic sports drinks

Important Requirements

Medical Conditions to Report

  • Drug allergies and latex allergy
  • Diabetes and type of treatment
  • Metallic heart valve
  • Anticoagulants or antiplatelet drugs
  • Hepatitis B, C, HIV, tuberculosis

Day of the Procedure

  • Come accompanied by another adult
  • Do not drive after sedation
  • Bring signed informed consent form
  • Stop oral iron supplements 5 days before

Normal Side Effects

• Nausea
• Vomiting (less common)
• Feeling of fullness / bloating
• Abdominal cramps
• Stomach cramps
• Anal irritation

✓ All these discomforts are transient and resolve quickly

If Your Stools Are Not Clear

  • Apply a warm water enema (nothing added)
  • Repeat every 30–60 minutes
  • Until the expelled water is completely clear
